Awesome French parents and students,
Once again, we have enjoyed another productive week in French.  All classes ended the week with Marie Antoinette's birthday celebration.  Make sure that you ask your child what they learned about the last queen of France.  I know they can tell you a few interesting details about her life.
French 1 ended Chapter 2 on Thursday and have already begun Chapter 3.  They will have a quiz tomorrow covering section 1 vocabulary.  This chapter will focus on descriptive adjectives and family vocabulary.  We will go to the tech lab on Wednesday to work on Real World assignments.  The week will end with one more quiz covering section 1 vocab.  I am in the midst of grading Chapter 2 tests and will post those grades shortly.
French 2 will learn past tense with the verb avoir this week.  We are working with clothing and store vocabulary.  We will also visit the tech lab Wednesday to work on Real World projects.  We will have quizzes this week covering section 2 vocab and past tense.
French 3 finished last week with Chapter 3.  We have started Chapter 4 already and will be quizzing Monday on section 1 vocab.  Grades on the chapter 3 test will be posted shortly.
In all classes, Real World half way mark is this Wednesday.  This means that students with 4 stamps will receive a 100 quiz grade.  If they do not have 4 stamps at this point, they are not penalized.   Real World projects with 8 stamps are due December 5th for a test grade.  Thank you again for all your hard work on the Marie Antoinette cakes!  They were beautiful, creative, and most importantly.....DELICIEUX!
